Pastor Hooper Sr. is founder and president of Fellowship Church in Grand Junction, Colorado, an interdenominational church with a staff of over 30 trained ministers, over 400 volunteers, and a church membership of 4000. He has received numerous degrees over the past 26 years, including a Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling, and a Doctor of Ministries degree from Louisiana Christian University.

In 1995, at a National Convention of Clergy in San Diego, Dan was honored as one of the top 25 most innovative pastors in the country. Dan speaks locally and nationally addressing leadership issues of today. His unique perspective, humor, and hard-hitting messages move the leader’s emotions and inspires them to make long-term , substantial changes in their personal and business lives.

Dan loves a good game of golf, and insists in golf as in life, “it’s the follow-through that makes the difference.” Dan and his wife, Anna, have been married for thirty years. They have 2 children and 4 grandchildren.

Pastor Hooper’s vision to reach the unchurched has far surpassed Grand Junction, Colorado. Hooper Ministries also ministers throughout the nations; providing missionaries in other countries with CD’s, DVD’s, books and tapes of sermons from Fellowship Church. With lending libraries in India, Mexico, the Virgin Islands, Pakistan, Kyrgystan and Cambodia, God’s Word is being carried to other nations fullfilling the goal of Habakkuk 2:14-For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.
